Jernej Ule elected member of EMBO

Jernej Ule, a Group Leader at the Crick seconded from UCL (University College London), has been elected to the EMBO membership. His selection is in recognition of his contribution to scientific excellence and a tribute to his research and achievements.

Becoming a member of EMBO gives scientists the opportunity to access other leaders in the discipline of molecular biology. It provides scientists with the opportunity to influence research in Europe and neighbouring countries.

Jernej commented on the election, "I'm really honoured to be elected to EMBO. It's a wonderful organisation, with a scientific vision and common values that are an important driving force for our research."

Jernej joins 33 Crick Group Leaders who are also EMBO members, including Jim Smith, Steve Gamblin, Michael Way and Caroline Hill.
