Physically and conceptually, the Francis Crick Institute will be at the heart of biomedical research in the UK.

Our collaborative ethos extends well beyond the walls of the institute. When the building opens in 2016 we will be using our purpose-built 450-seat auditorium and other facilities to host national and international conferences. Until then, we are working with our founders to organise activities that bring together scientists from education and research organisations to share knowledge and debate important scientific research topics.

Crick symposia

We have been hosting scientific symposia since 2012. These are open to those working or studying in science, technology and health organisations and are proving to be extremely popular. Find out more about Crick symposia here.

Keep an eye on our events page, Twitter feed and Facebook page for information about forthcoming symposia and details on how to register.

  • The Francis Crick Institute organises events for scientists from establishments all over the country to get together to learn from each other and debate ideas.
  • When the institute opens, it will host national and international conferences.
