Research laboratory placements

Ages 16-19 years only

There are three ways in which students aged 16-19 years can apply for a placement in the research laboratories at the Francis Crick Institute. These can be summarised as follows:

Nuffield Foundation

The Crick would encourage all eligible students to apply for a placement through the Social Mobility Foundation or Nuffield Foundation. The programmes offered by these organisations are extensive and provide significant support in addition to the work experience placement itself e.g. mentoring and interview skills training. 

Note that students may apply for a placement through more than one of these organisations, but successful applicants will only be offered one placement at the Crick.
